Top 20 DE Recruit Bryce Mostella Announces Commitment

Having made visits to several Big Ten powerhouses, he has now come to a decision.In a video posted to Twitter, Mostella announced on Friday that he would be committing to Penn State.  Mostella took two official visits last month: One to Penn State, and the other to Iowa.247Sports rates Mostella as a three-star prospect and the No. 475 overall prospect in the country. He is the No. 16 weak-side defensive end in the nation, and the No. 14 prospect from the state of Michigan.pic.twitter.com/ZFYGFyfzq0— Bryce Mostella (@BryceMostella) July 5, 2019 In an interview with 247Sports, Mostella explained that explained that the coaching staff and family atmosphere at Penn State had a big influence on his decision.“Definitely, the first thing to come to mind is the coaches,” Mostella said. “Being around them on the official visit, they were people I could trust in, not only with football, but with life in general. I feel like they really do have that family atmosphere there, not just with the players but with each other.”The official visit he took to the campus in early June played a huge factor, he explained. Though he unofficially visted the campus for the Blue and White Game last year, the official visit sealed the deal.With Mostella now committed, Penn State’s class of 2020 now includes 20 players.As of writing, the class ranks No. 3 in the Big Ten and No. 10 in the nation by 247Sports.last_img read more
