Simply click below to discover how you can take advantage of this. Our 6 ‘Best Buys Now’ Shares It’s been an extremely bumpy year for many FTSE 100 investors. The brief rally following the stock market crash of late February and early March ran out of steam almost immediately. As I type, the Footsie trades a full 25% lower from its levels at the start of 2020.In fact, the FTSE 100 has just slipped to its lowest for almost seven months to around 5,500 points. And further drops beyond 2020’s multi-year lows can’t be ruled out as coronavirus infection rates soar. I know what I’ll be doing if UK share prices slump again. I’ll be buying more quality shares for my Stocks and Shares ISA at their knocked-down prices.5G is here – and shares of this ‘sleeping giant’ could be a great way for you to potentially profit!According to one leading industry firm, the 5G boom could create a global industry worth US$12.3 TRILLION out of thin air…And if you click here we’ll show you something that could be key to unlocking 5G’s full potential…Here are two FTSE 100 shares I’m already thinking of adding (or indeed, buying more of) for my portfolio today: A blue-chip UK share I already ownAshtead Group (LSE: AHT) was the best-performing FTSE 100 stock of the 2010s but it’s not got off to a flyer in this new decade. The impact of Covid-19 lockdowns on construction activity across the globe — and, as a consequence, falling demand for its rental equipment — has been significant. As a consequence, its pre-tax profit slipped 35% in the three months to July.As an Ashtead shareholder, I hope that rising Covid-19 infections won’t cause builders to down tools again. But even if they do, I’m confident this UK share will still deliver terrific long-term returns.Rampant acquisition activity was the bedrock of the brilliant profits growth of the past decade. And the company is still generating shedloads of cash to help it continue building its market share through M&A action. Indeed, there could be plenty of distressed rivals available to be bought for a knock-down price following this fresh economic downturn.City analysts reckon Ashtead will bounce from a 29% earnings drop in the current financial year (to April 2021) and record a 32% bottom-line rebound in fiscal 2022. The company’s elevated forward price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 24 times isn’t that tasty at first glance. But the exceptional form of this FTSE 100 firecracker in recent years makes it worthy of a fat premium, in my opinion.A dirt-cheap FTSE 100 heroThe long-term profits outlook for GVC Holdings (LSE: GVC) also looks quite robust. It’s not just that the online betting market is set to continue exploding (a Verified Market Research report suggests the global market will grow at a compound annual growth rate of 11% through to 2026). It’s that this FTSE 100 share has some of the industry’s most popular brands like bwin, Ladbrokes and partypoker. It also has a broad geographical footprint and is building momentum in the gigantic US marketplace too. In 2021, City analysts expect earnings at GVC to rocket 29%, a vast improvement from the 13% decline forecast for this year. And, as a result, this UK share trades on a rock-bottom forward price-to-earnings growth (PEG) ratio of 0.5. Throw in a chunky 3.6% dividend yield too, and I think it’s too good to miss.last_img read more

The dilapidated object of the old non-functional mill was given a new face, according to a project from Atrium Architekti studio. A new feature comes with her hand. The building was awarded the National Architecture Prize – the Dušan Jurkovič Prize 2017. Logically, the flats have supplemented the existing structure of solitary family houses and the medium-high ossampler building of residential buildings near the nearby elementary school. The street line, as well as the distance to the neighbouring land, are given by the existing buildings. Local service communications from the north side lead the site. The terrain of the building site is considered south by a slight decline. An object with a rectangular plan is located in its northern part.Save this picture!© Martin PitoňákSave this picture!Elevation and Floor PlanSave this picture!© Martin PitoňákOn the ground floor, there will be two apartments with access to private gardens separated from the surrounding green hedge. Among the apartments, there is a boiler room and common areas with cellars. On the second and third floors, there are three apartments. On the fourth floor are three maisonette apartments, the upper, 5th floor of which has two outbuildings on the open terrace. The roof is designed as a tin-zinc titanium with slots on open terraces. It is to be said that anything in the place of a broken-down building would be better. New apartments, however, have the potential to truly and truly revive the building. To the investor’s point of view, he also did not use the popular formula: the old burst and rebuild and modern.Save this picture!© Martin PitoňákSave this picture!SectionsSave this picture!© Martin PitoňákArchitects did not miss the original volume and interior layout. They do not try to completely overlap it and rework it; their intervention, however, involves the former mill in the new facade and represents a new arrangement of holes, but there is still a hint that it is not a new building. The interventions can be compared to a clean and uncompromising cut that will allow rapid and effective treatment. Simple windows and tent roof in the slope that refers to the original shape of the roof are reminiscent of the original fill of the object. The design works with titanium zinc roofing. Sure, it is not the cheapest idea, but any other material would taste refined reconstruction either from a functionally functional point of view (in the case of titanium substitution for a cheaper coloured sheet) or aesthetic (any other cover).Save this picture!© Martin PitoňákBalconies in the form of sloping drawers and the old-fashioned element of the gallery give the project a joke and smut. The use of hook could be considered as another reference to the production past. However, the shape of the pavlax itself and the vertical communications, which are without barriers admitted to the exterior as a new element added, are purely contemporary, almost timeless. The playfulness and ease of input reveal even the inevitable accentuation of the input by pulling one panel out of the treble, replacing it with a transparent glass railing. On a monochromatic palette with white plaster and grey metallic elements, the agate wood on the extended balconies and outdoor applications and interiors blended. EAT to focus on central London in new drive for sites

first_imgHigh street sandwich and coffee chain EAT will open 10 central London stores between January and July next year following a major rebrand. The rebrand has focused on EAT’s retail appearance, including store look and branding.Since the refurbishment programme started 18 months ago 75% of shops have been upgraded, with all remaining to be completed by year-end. Figures show a result of like-for-likes up 10% since and a further £12m has been put forward by independent private investment company Ardian to fund the 10 new sites next year and further new openings in the company’s new financial year from July. Sites have yet to be confirmed.London focusFrom July the brand plans to open 30 new sites a year, focusing on London, cities where it already has a presence such as Manchester and Birmingham, as well as regions where it has yet to make its mark, such as Bristol and Leeds. Of 113 shops, 90 are in and around the M25 bubble.Sarah Doyle, brand director, told British Baker: “We’re aware that we are under-represented in central London and it is a strong urban market.“We have to smash it with these first 10 and I know we’ll do that in London because the brand is well-known.“We are going for sites that are big enough to take seating – around 1,500sq ft as it is not just about food to go.” Around 80% of customers choose not to sit and eat, but part of the rebranding effort has been to make stores inviting and encourage people to stay to eat.Doyle confirmed that transport hubs will be a target for new sites and the company will bid as opportunities come up. It has paired with advertising agency Brave for the first time to improve its communications with customers and is also focusing on sampling and social media to drive awareness.Sales mixHot food such as soup, pies and the hot pots launched two years ago, is seeing the biggest growth for the brand, accounting for 15% of total sales value in the year to date, displaying 10% growth. Cold food such as sandwiches and salads accounts for 40% and is in 6% growth; breakfast items including porridge, bacon rolls and pastries account for 10% and is in 4% growth; and hot drinks account for 15% and are in 15% growth.Doyle has noted a switch among customers to salads, which are in 40% year-on-year growth, albeit from a lower base.last_img read more
