Hannah Sargent had a triple and a single with four RBIs, and pitcher Mariah Brown allowed just two hits and struck out eight.In the second game of the doubleheader sweep, Ellsworth’s Ariana Peterson had three hits and drove in two runs. Callie Hammer and Emily Berry each had two hits and two RBIs. Caitlin Bean scattered five hits to pick up the win.DI-S 9, Katahdin 7 and DI-S 11, Katahdin 7 (doubleheader)Natalie Knowlton struck out 14 batters to help Deer Isle-Stonington (3-5) prevail in the first game of a home doubleheader against Katahdin (3-5) on Saturday.DI-S rallied for eight runs in the sixth to earn the win. Morgan Shepard sparked the offense with a double, two singles and two RBIs.
